This positive school tradition took place on Friday, 3 October 2025, with the aim of instilling the spirit of sharing, social awareness, and gratitude among students. In this Friday Sharing event, each student brought food from home to share with their classmates and other members of the school community. From early morning, the school atmosphere was lively and filled with joy. The children exchanged food, visited other classes, and shared with teachers and school staff. This moment became a valuable experience in strengthening the sense of togetherness within the school environment. This simple act of sharing food taught the children the meaning of giving sincerely and spreading happiness without discrimination. For some students, it was also an opportunity to express creativity in preparing their meals and to build confidence in interacting with different members of the school community. Teachers attentively accompanied the students throughout the activity, ensuring it ran smoothly, safely, and meaningfully. They also reminded the children that sharing is not only about material things, but also about sincerity and empathy towards others. Through the monthly Friday Sharing programme, Al Siddiq International Primary School strives to nurture students who are generous, noble in character, and have a strong sense of cooperation. The ESPECTO (El-Hassan Sport and Academic Competition) has been organised annually since 2012 by Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Hassan, receiving enthusiastic participation from a wide range of schools. The competition is open to both primary (SD) and secondary (SMP) students and includes various contests such as Futsal, Badminton, MHQ, Calligraphy, Squarth, Speech, Poetry, Storytelling, Poster Design, and Photography. ESPECTO carries the slogan “Rise your passion, show your best action to be champion,” encouraging students to awaken their spirit and give their best performance to become champions. Alhamdulillah, Al Siddiq International Secondary School has demonstrated its best action and brought home a trophy in this year’s event. Three students from SD Al Siddiq International — Omar Sani Nasri, Khanino Amal Prasojo, and Ibrahim — successfully advanced to the semi-final round of the Squarth (Quiz) competition for Years 4 and 5. Although they did not reach the final stage, their achievement of reaching the semi-finals was already a great accomplishment and a proud moment for the school. One of the Squarth coaches, Ustadz Abdullah Syafii, Lc., who also teaches Islamic Education at the school, shared his thoughts: “The event was very engaging, encouraging students’ interest in the subjects tested, such as Mathematics, Social Studies, and Islamic Studies. After the competition, they became even more enthusiastic about learning. Personally, I hope we can participate in more events like this in the future and achieve even better results.” In the Storytelling competition, SD Al Siddiq International was represented by two students from Years 4 and 5 — Queensha Nahda Permana and Fathimah Tsabitah. Both students performed excellently, with Queensha Nahda Permana proudly earning 2nd place. This is a remarkable accomplishment, especially considering that SD Al Siddiq International is a school that has not yet reached its second year of establishment, yet its students have already brought honour to the school. The Storytelling coach, Ms. Elsa Violita, S.S., M.S., an English teacher at SD Al Siddiq International, expressed her pride in their achievement: “I feel truly happy and proud of what they’ve accomplished. From the beginning, they were very enthusiastic when chosen to represent the school. Despite their busy schedules, they still managed to make time for practice. Their success is the result of their hard work and courage to take part in the competition. I’m especially proud of Queensha, who was initially doubtful during practice but gave her best performance during the preliminary round and went on to win 2nd place. I hope this achievement motivates them to keep improving and growing.” May this remarkable achievement serve as an inspiration for other students at Al Siddiq International Secondary School to continue striving for excellence and developing their potential. The school hopes that in future competitions, Al Siddiq students will achieve even greater results and that this success marks the beginning of many more accomplishments to come. Al Siddiq International Primary School Student Advances to Spelling Bee Final

A Year 5 student from Al Siddiq International Primary School successfully advanced to the final round of the Spelling Bee Competition (Group C Category: Years 5–6 Primary School) organised by English First (EF) Kalimalang, outperforming 47 other participants. The competition took place on Saturday, 25 October 2024, at the EF Kalimalang centre. The Spelling Bee competition was held to showcase children’s ability to spell words in English correctly. Organised by English First, this event is recognised as one of the largest spelling competitions in Indonesia. The main goal of the competition is to improve children’s English proficiency and self-confidence. Participants are given English words and must spell them letter by letter accurately. The level of difficulty varies depending on the group and stage. The EF Spelling Bee consists of three rounds — the Preliminary, Semi-final, and Final — and is open to students from both public and private primary and secondary schools in the surrounding areas. The Al Siddiq International Primary School student who reached the final stage of the Spelling Bee is Percy William. Although he did not take the top spot, Percy successfully demonstrated his skills and placed among the Top 5 finalists, defeating 47 other contestants in Group C (Years 5–6). This is a remarkable achievement for Al Siddiq International Primary School, especially considering that the school has been established for less than two years. The Spelling Bee coach, Ms. Elsa Violita, S.S., M.S., who is also the English teacher at Al Siddiq International, expressed her pride in Percy’s performance. She shared, “I’m so proud of Percy. Even though he has a foreign background and speaks English in daily life, he still showed great enthusiasm and discipline during practice. He remained humble and didn’t underestimate his competitors. Since it was his first time joining a Spelling Bee, he felt a bit nervous and wasn’t yet familiar with the difficulty level of the words. Although he didn’t win first place, reaching the final round and making it into the Top 5 is already a wonderful accomplishment for him and the school. I hope this will be a great start for Percy to continue improving his skills.” May this outstanding achievement serve as an inspiration for other students of Al Siddiq International Primary School to keep striving for excellence and developing their potential. Hopefully, in future competitions, Al Siddiq students will achieve even greater success, marking the beginning of many more remarkable accomplishments in the years ahead. Al Siddiq International Primary School Wins Third Runner-Up in Qur’an Recitation Competition

Al Siddiq International Primary School has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. Two students from Year 1 and Year 4 proudly won Third Runner-Up in the Qur’an Recitation (Tilawah) Competition held on 21 September 2024 at Eureka Bookhouse, Kalibata, South Jakarta. The competition was organised by Eureka Bookhouse in collaboration with Erlangga Publishers to commemorate the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The event was open to primary school students, divided into two categories: Years 1–3, who recited and memorised Surahs An-Nas to Az-Zalzalah, and Years 4–6, who performed Surahs Al-Bayyinah to Al-A‘la. The competition welcomed participants from both public and private Primary Schools (SD) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) across Indonesia. Al Siddiq International Primary School sent 12 talented students to represent the school. During the competition, there were approximately 33 participants in the Years 1–3 category and 15 participants in the Years 4–6 category. The judging criteria included fluency, tajwid (pronunciation and articulation), melodic recitation, and presentation neatness. Two of Al Siddiq’s representatives, Khansa Azkadina Aisy (Year 1C) and Sheema (Year 4), both earned Third Runner-Up in their respective categories — a truly outstanding achievement that brought pride to the entire school community. The students were trained by their respective Qur’an teachers, with Ms. Nadya, Lc., serving as one of the Tilawah competition mentors. She shared her thoughts: “The event was very enjoyable — the children were all enthusiastic about taking part, and it became even more exciting with a prize quiz at the end. However, the only challenge was that there were too many participants in the Year 1–3 category, which made the children a bit tired from waiting. I hope this achievement motivates other students to reach for their own success.” The Principal of Al Siddiq International Primary School, Ms. Reni Oktavia, S.Sos., M.Pd., also expressed her gratitude, saying: “Jazakumullahu khairan to everyone — the whole team, especially Mr. Dede, Mr. Asep, and Ms. Nadya, for accompanying and supporting our students. Let’s continue to move forward together with unity and success.” May this proud achievement serve as an inspiration for other students of Al Siddiq International Primary School to continue striving for excellence and developing their talents. It is hoped that in future competitions, Al Siddiq students will achieve even greater results — marking the beginning of many more remarkable accomplishments in the years to come. Friday is a beautiful and blessed day. On Friday, 27 September 2024, SD Al Siddiq International School held its Friday Sharing (Jumat Berbagi) activity, which was joined by all students from Year 1 to Year 5, taking place in their respective classrooms. The Friday Sharing activity is a monthly event where students share food with others within the school community. The aim of this programme is to instil the habit of sharing, foster a sense of care for others, and encourage compassion among students. At SD Al Siddiq International School, the Friday Sharing activity takes place both inside and outside the classroom. Students bring food from home to share with their classmates, which is collected under the supervision of their class teachers. Once all the food has been gathered, the students enjoy their meals together during break time. Afterwards, they distribute food to other members of the Al Siddiq International School community. The Principal of SD Al Siddiq International School, Ms Reni Oktavia, S.Si., M.Pd., stated, “The Friday Sharing Programme is not only about giving, but also about opening our hearts to care, empathise, and show love to others.” One of the Qur’an teachers at Al Siddiq International School, Ustadzah Fanni Bangkit, Lc., also shared her thoughts on the event, saying, “Friday is a day filled with blessings. It is a day when Muslims gather together. Therefore, giving charity on a Friday is a good act, as Allah multiplies the rewards for those who give.” Teaching children to share is not an easy task. The sense of empathy and generosity does not appear instantly—it grows through a process of consistent practice and habituation. It is hoped that through the Friday Sharing activity, students of SD Al Siddiq International School will become accustomed to sharing, nurturing empathy towards others, and embodying the values of Pancasila, such as humanity, unity, and social justice. Supervision to Improve Teacher Quality at Al Siddiq Primary School

In an effort to enhance the quality of its teachers, Al Siddiq International Primary School conducted a teacher performance supervision programme from 23 September to 4 October 2024. The activity focused particularly on new teachers, with a total of 18 participants. The supervision process took place over approximately two weeks and involved Ms. Reni Oktavia, S.Si., M.Pd., the Principal of Al Siddiq International Primary School, and Ustadz Abdullah Haris, Lc., M.Pd., the Director of Education at Al Siddiq International School. Teacher performance and quality were assessed through a process known as supervision. Teacher supervision is a process of observation, evaluation, and guidance carried out by the school principal or educational supervisor to ensure that teachers perform their duties and responsibilities effectively in the classroom. The purpose of supervision is to provide constructive feedback to teachers on their teaching performance and to help them develop the skills and competencies needed to create effective learning experiences. Supervision is not merely administrative but also educational and supportive in nature. It involves open dialogue and collaboration between the supervisor and the teacher to improve teaching quality, which ultimately contributes to the enhancement of overall education standards in the school. In classroom practice, there are several teaching criteria that teachers must fulfil during lessons, such as planning lessons systematically and clearly, mastering and delivering the subject matter effectively, maintaining discipline and managing the class with high competence, conducting mid-session evaluations, and integrating Al-Qur’an internalisation as part of each lesson. Upon completing the supervision activities, Ms. Reni Oktavia, S.Si., M.Pd., the Principal of Al Siddiq International Primary School, expressed her appreciation: “Alhamdulillah, the teacher supervision process went well. I hope our teachers at Al Siddiq International Primary School remain consistent in doing their best during the teaching and learning process in the classroom.” With structured and well-directed supervision, it is expected that all teachers at Al Siddiq International Primary School will continue to grow into high-quality educators, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and learning. Al Siddiq Primary School Goes to Seaworld & Ocean Dream Samudra – Ancol

Learning is a process of building knowledge. It does not only take place in the classroom — students also need to see and experience what they have learned directly in the real world. This idea formed the basis for Al Siddiq International Primary School’s Educational Field Trip to Seaworld and Ocean Dream Samudra – Ancol, held on 19 September 2024. The field trip was attended by all students from Years 1, 2, 4, and 5. The event was also organised to mark the completion of the Mid-Semester Summative Assessment, which had taken place the previous week. The students were extremely enthusiastic about joining this trip, as it provided not only an enjoyable experience but also a well-deserved break after preparing for and completing their assessments. Ms Reni Oktavia, S.Si., M.Pd., the Head of Al Siddiq International Primary School, explained that the field trip was integrated with several subjects, including Social Studies, Citizenship Education, Science, and others. “Learning does not only happen inside the classroom — it can also take place while playing and exploring outside. After finishing their mid-term assessments, students also need time to refresh their minds. This activity is important as it provides a learning experience through play while helping students, especially Year 1 pupils, develop independence,”said Ms Reni. Each year, Al-Siddiq Primary School holds a Field Trip involving all students. In 2023, the school visited Animalium and Inagro in Bogor. In the future, Al-Siddiq International School plans to continue organising Educational Field Trips to various destinations that provide enriching and educational experiences for its students. By.
