The event signified the conclusion of the tenure of the Acting Principal, Mr Amal Dzikrullah, M.Pd., and the formal transfer of leadership responsibilities to the newly appointed Principal, Mrs Rabiatul Adawiyah, M.Pd. A principal handover ceremony is an important milestone in the journey of an educational institution. Beyond being an administrative and formal process of leadership transition, it symbolises the continuity of vision, programmes, and responsibilities in managing and advancing the quality of education. In the educational sector, the principal plays a strategic role as a leader, manager, and driving force behind all aspects of the school. Principals are responsible for creating a positive working environment, motivating teachers and educational staff, and directing all school resources towards achieving established educational goals. During the ceremony, attendees expressed their appreciation for the dedication and commitment demonstrated by Mr Amal Dzikrullah, M.Pd. throughout his tenure as Acting Principal. Under his leadership, various school programmes were successfully implemented, communication among all members of the school community remained strong, and numerous challenges were addressed with calmness, wisdom, and a strong sense of responsibility. The spirit of collaboration, a harmonious working culture, and a commitment to improving educational quality have become valuable legacies that will continue under the next leadership period. In his address, Mr Amal Dzikrullah, M.Pd. emphasised that every position of leadership is fundamentally a trust that must be carried out with responsibility and sincerity. He also encouraged the entire school community to continue fostering unity and mutual support for the advancement of the institution. Concluding his speech, he delivered a message that resonated deeply with all those in attendance: “Leadership is a trust; it should unite, not divide.” This statement reflected the leadership values he consistently demonstrated throughout his tenure—promoting togetherness, embracing diverse perspectives, and maintaining institutional unity amid various challenges and changes. His message served as a reminder that the success of an institution is determined not only by its programmes and achievements, but also by the ability of its members to preserve unity, trust, and a spirit of collaboration. With the appointment of Mrs Rabiatul Adawiyah, M.Pd. as the new Principal, the entire Al Siddiq International Junior High School community hopes that the new leadership will continue the achievements established by previous administrations while introducing new innovations that will lead the school to even greater success. Full of Colour and Imagination: Al Siddiq B2 Kindergarten Children Create Masks

The mask-making activity was carried out by the children of Al Siddiq B2 Kindergarten on Friday, 12 June 2026. The activity took place in the classroom in a joyful, creative, and enthusiastic atmosphere. The children were excited because they had the opportunity to express their creativity directly through colouring and designing masks according to their own imagination. For this activity, the teacher first prepared mask templates for each child. The children were then given guidance on how to colour their masks neatly while allowing them the freedom to express their creativity. Each child selected their favourite colours and enthusiastically began colouring different parts of the mask. Some chose bright and vibrant colours, while others combined several shades to create more unique and attractive designs. After completing the colouring stage, the children continued by carefully cutting out their masks along the prepared outlines. The teacher closely supervised and assisted the children, particularly when they were using scissors, to ensure the activity was carried out safely. Through this process, the children learned to be more careful, patient, and attentive while completing their work. The mask-making activity provided numerous benefits for the children’s development. One of its main advantages was encouraging creativity and imagination as the children selected colours and decorated their masks according to their personal ideas. In addition, the activity helped develop fine motor skills, particularly through colouring and cutting along the shapes of the templates. The children also practised concentration, independence, and responsibility as they worked to complete their creations. Another purpose of the activity was to prepare props for an upcoming performing arts presentation. The masks created by the children will later be used as supporting accessories during their stage performance. By creating their own performance props, the children will feel a greater sense of pride and confidence when using their own handmade work. Overall, the mask-making activity in Al Siddiq B2 Kindergarten provided a fun and meaningful learning experience. The children not only enjoyed playing and creating artwork but also developed important skills, creativity, independence, and self-confidence. Through this simple yet engaging activity, the learning process became more vibrant, enjoyable, and closely aligned with the colourful and imaginative world of young children.By Inka Amalia, S.Pd
