SMP Al-Siddiq International once again presented an inspiring programme for its students through the Profession Day event, held on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, in the multifunction room on the third floor. The event began at 09.30 WIB and was attended by all students, along with several parents who participated as guest speakers.
Profession Day is a programme designed to provide students with insight into various modern professions. Through this activity, students are able to learn directly from experienced professionals, while also building early motivation and aspirations.
The first speaker was Dr Dwi Ajeng Rembulan, Sp.OG., a specialist doctor working in the field of care and aesthetics. She is also the mother of Muhammad Adhyatama Athallah, a Year 9 male student at SMP Al-Siddiq International.
In her presentation, Dr Dwi Ajeng explained many interesting aspects of being a specialist doctor, ranging from the fields of study involved and the educational journey required, to the challenges and the rewarding nature of the profession. Her explanation broadened the students’ understanding of the vast world of medicine and the opportunities within it.
The session continued with Mr Firmansyah, a professional videographer, photographer, and content creator who has collaborated with various major companies, including Gojek. He is the father of Kamayla Zavnura Nur Izzati, a Year 7 female student.
Mr Firmansyah introduced various aspects of the digital creative world, from basic videography techniques and the process of content creation to the fast-growing career opportunities in today’s technological era. The students were very enthusiastic, especially when he showcased samples of his work and shared creative tips.
The event became even more lively when students were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers. A variety of interesting questions emerged, covering educational pathways, work experiences, and the challenges faced in each profession. This interactive session became a valuable moment to spark curiosity and encourage a strong learning spirit.
Profession Day concluded with a collective prayer as a form of gratitude for the smooth running of the event. Afterwards, all speakers, teachers, and students gathered for a group photo as a meaningful keepsake.
