
Bekasi, 12 November 2025 — Another proud achievement has been secured by Al-Siddiq International Junior High School. One of its students, Khumairah Nairi Althafunnisa Isnain, successfully earned first place in the Pre-Teen Pencak Silat Sparring Tournament, held on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta.
This tournament, now in its fourth year, was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Menpora) and attended by young participants from various regions. The event serves as a platform for young athletes to showcase their silat skills while fostering sportsmanship and a love for Indonesia’s traditional martial arts.
Khumairah, an Year 8 female student at Al-Siddiq International Junior High School, delivered an outstanding performance from the very first round. Representing the PSHT (Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate) silat style, she excelled over her opponents through a combination of strong techniques, agility, and precision in her attacks.
She secured a series of victories with convincing scores, ultimately emerging as the first-place winner, bringing honour to the school and to the city of Bekasi in this national-level pencak silat tournament for the pre-teen category.
In recognition of her achievement, Khumairah was awarded a gold medal as a symbol of her dedication, hard work, and martial arts mastery. The school expressed its pride and appreciation for Khumairah’s perseverance in training and her commitment to continuous improvement.
This achievement serves as new motivation for students of Al-Siddiq International Junior High School to continue striving and excelling in various fields, both academic and non-academic.
