The Footsteps of Pious and Brilliant Achievements at Al Siddiq International Kindergarten

The Academic Graduation and Tahfiz Graduation Ceremony of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten pupils was held on Monday, 1 June 2026, at the Auditorium of Darma Persada University. The event marked a special milestone for all kindergarten pupils, particularly those in Kindergarten B, who had successfully completed their early years of education. It also served as a celebration for pupils who had completed the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an, specifically Juz 30 and Juz 29. The Academic Graduation Ceremony was organised to honour the achievements, learning journey, and personal development of the Kindergarten B pupils throughout their time at Al Siddiq International Kindergarten. More than simply marking the completion of their kindergarten education, the ceremony symbolised the children’s readiness to progress to primary school. Through this occasion, the pupils gained a greater appreciation of achievement, developed confidence in appearing before an audience, and felt proud of the efforts they had made throughout their learning journey. The benefits of the Academic Graduation Ceremony are significant for the Kindergarten B pupils. It provides them with a memorable experience that strengthens their self-confidence and encourages a lifelong enthusiasm for learning. For parents, the event offers an opportunity to witness their children’s growth in independence, social skills, and readiness to embark on the next stage of education. For the school, the ceremony reflects its commitment to supporting each child’s holistic development to the highest standard. Alongside the Academic Graduation, the event also featured the Tahfiz Graduation Ceremony for pupils who had successfully memorised Juz 30 and Juz 29. Six Kindergarten B pupils proudly participated in this special occasion: Reno, Nala, Shofiyyah, Sofia, Ameera, and Raisya. The Tahfiz Graduation aimed to recognise the children’s dedication and perseverance in memorising the Holy Qur’an from an early age. It also sought to nurture a deep love for the Qur’an, encourage children to remain closely connected to the words of Allah, and inspire them to preserve and continue expanding their memorisation. The programme commenced with an opening by the Master of Ceremonies, who guided the event with dignity and order. This was followed by the entrance procession of the graduates into the auditorium. It was a deeply moving and proud moment as the children walked confidently and gracefully before their teachers, parents, and distinguished guests. The ceremony then proceeded with the Academic Graduation. During this procession, the Kindergarten B pupils were presented with graduation medals and certificates in recognition of completing their kindergarten education. Each child was celebrated for the remarkable journey they had undertaken—from learning letters and numbers, building friendships, participating actively in classroom activities, to growing into more independent and confident individuals. Following the Academic Graduation, the Tahfiz Graduation Ceremony took place. Pupils who had successfully completed the memorisation of Juz 30 and Juz 29 received certificates as recognition of their outstanding achievement. The programme also featured a muraja’ah presentation, during which the pupils recited portions of the Qur’an they had memorised. Their performance demonstrated the results of their dedication, discipline, the guidance of their teachers, and the unwavering support of their parents at home. One of the most touching moments of the Tahfiz Graduation was the presentation of crowns to the parents. This meaningful tradition symbolised the invaluable role parents play in accompanying and encouraging their children throughout their Qur’anic memorisation journey. Through this heartfelt ceremony, the children learned that their success was not solely the result of their own efforts, but also the outcome of their parents’ prayers, encouragement, and unconditional love. With the successful completion of both the Academic Graduation and the Tahfiz Graduation Ceremony, it is hoped that the pupils of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten will continue to be inspired to pursue knowledge, embrace new challenges with confidence, and develop a lifelong love for the Holy Qur’an from an early age. More than a ceremonial event, this occasion will remain a treasured memory for the children, their parents, and the entire Al Siddiq International Kindergarten community.By Inka Amalia, S.Pd

Academic Supervision as an Effort to Strengthen Teacher Professionalism at TK Al Siddiq International

Supervision activities at TK Al Siddiq International are carried out as part of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of teaching and learning within the school. This supervision is not merely an evaluative exercise, but rather a process of guidance and professional support for teachers. Through supervision, the school seeks to ensure that the teaching and learning process runs effectively, purposefully, and in alignment with the established vision and standards. The activity takes place in each teacher’s classroom, allowing observations to be conducted directly within the authentic learning environment. In this way, the Headteacher and observers are able to see how teachers manage their classrooms, deliver learning materials, interact with the children, and create a learning atmosphere that is both enjoyable and safe for pupils. The supervision was conducted over four days, from Monday to Thursday, 9–12 February 2026. The supervision schedule had been distributed in advance by the Headteacher to all TK Al Siddiq International teachers. With a clear timetable in place, teachers were able to prepare their lessons properly without making excessive changes to their usual teaching style, as the supervision was designed to observe natural, day-to-day classroom practice. In its implementation, teachers continued to teach as usual in accordance with their prepared lesson plans. The Headteacher, together with the Head of Islamic Affairs of Al Siddiq International, acted as observers in the classroom. They observed the entire learning process, from the opening activities and main lesson to the closing session. The focus of observation included teaching strategies, the use of learning media, time management, and pupils’ responses throughout the activities. The purpose of supervision for teachers is to help enhance their professional and pedagogical competence. Through the feedback provided, teachers are able to identify their strengths to be maintained, as well as areas that require further improvement. For the Headteacher, supervision serves as a means of mapping the overall quality of teaching within the school, ensuring that standards are maintained, and planning more targeted professional development programmes for teachers. After teaching hours concluded, each teacher received an individual evaluation and feedback session. During this stage, the Headteacher and observers delivered their observations constructively and openly. Discussions were conducted in a supportive atmosphere, ensuring that teachers felt valued and motivated to continue developing their skills. Through this supervision activity, it is hoped that the quality of education at TK Al Siddiq International will continue to improve and have a positive impact on the children’s development.By Inka Amalia, S. A Day as a Young Disaster Preparedness Champion

On Tuesday, 3 February 2026, the pupils of TK Al Siddiq International continued their exciting and educational field trip programme. After previously visiting the National Library, the journey continued to the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Jakarta (BPBD DKI Jakarta). This visit became a truly valuable new experience, as the children were introduced to the world of disaster preparedness in a way that was both enjoyable and easy to understand. The activity aimed to introduce children, from an early age, to the importance of personal safety and how to respond in emergency situations. Through their visit to BPBD DKI Jakarta, the children learned that disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods can occur, but that risks can be reduced by understanding the correct steps to take. The programme also encouraged bravery, calmness, and the ability to follow instructions during emergencies. Upon arrival at BPBD DKI Jakarta, the children were divided into four small groups to ensure the activities ran smoothly and effectively. Each group took turns visiting several simulation stations prepared by the officers. The children appeared enthusiastic and curious about the various equipment and simulation rooms available. At the earthquake simulation station, the children were taught how to protect themselves, such as taking cover under a table and shielding their heads. At the fire simulation station, they were introduced to ways of keeping themselves safe during a fire, including the importance of remaining calm and following evacuation routes. Meanwhile, at the first aid station, the children learned simple first aid skills, such as how to clean a minor wound. At the flood simulation station, they received an explanation about the dangers of flooding and the importance of caring for the environment to prevent blocked drainage systems. What made the experience even more engaging was that at the first aid and flood simulation stations, the children had the opportunity to try Virtual Reality (VR) technology. With the help of VR, they were able to observe emergency situations in a realistic yet safe manner. They were extremely enthusiastic and experienced the activity as learning through play. The visit to BPBD DKI Jakarta provided many valuable lessons for the pupils of TK Al Siddiq International. It not only broadened their understanding of disaster awareness, but also fostered alertness, courage, and concern for personal and environmental safety. The field trip became an unforgettable day filled with knowledge and joy.By Inka Amalia, S. Pd

Year 8 Girls of Al-Siddiq International Junior High School Create Pinhole Cameras in Science Practice

On Thursday, 27 November 2025, the Year 8 girls of Al-Siddiq International Junior High School carried out an engaging and educational Science practical activity. Taking place in the Science laboratory at 08.00 WIB, the students created pinhole cameras using cardboard as part of their lesson on the properties of light. Under the guidance of their Science teacher, Mr Muhammad Fathul Ihsan, M.Res., the students learned the concept that light travels in a straight line. Through constructing a simple pinhole camera, they observed how light entering through a small hole can produce an image on the inner surface of the box. The pinhole cameras helped the students understand basic optical principles directly—showing how light can form an image when directed through a narrow opening. This activity not only strengthened their conceptual understanding but also made the learning experience more enjoyable and meaningful. It is hoped that this practical session will foster curiosity and creativity among the students, while also providing them with a hands-on and engaging Science learning experience.By Umair Shoddiq, S.I.Kom
