Experiencing the Jabodebek LRT Ride, Bekasi

Bekasi – February 2024 One of the learning themes for Al Siddiq International Kindergarten students is getting to know different modes of transportation. On this occasion, the children had the exciting opportunity to experience riding the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jabodebek — the Greater Jakarta light rail system. The trip took place on Thursday, 1 February 2024, beginning at Jatibening Baru Station and continuing to Bekasi Barat Station. The students learned how to enter the station using access cards, wait for the train on the platform, and sit properly inside the carriage once aboard. Upon arriving at Bekasi Barat Station, the children also enjoyed playtime at Kidzilla, a play area inside Revo Mall, which is directly connected to the transit station. By midday, the children prepared to return to school — once again travelling by LRT. It was truly a fun and educational experience for the students. See you on the next trip! Creative Recycling with Reusable Plastic Materials

Bekasi – February 2024 As part of the school’s mission to care for the environment, the latest Project-Based Learning (PjBL) activity for Al Siddiq International Primary School involved students collecting used plastic bottles and other reusable plastics to create useful new products. The students produced a variety of creative works, including pencil holders, stationery containers, plastic flowers, pinwheels, and more. Each student made one creation to be assessed by the teachers, with creativity, neatness, and originality serving as the main evaluation criteria. Bekasi – November 2023, Every year on 25 November, Indonesia celebrates National Teachers’ Day, and the year 2023 marked the first-ever celebration of this special occasion at Al Siddiq International School. It was a moment of joy and pride for the teachers of Al Siddiq, who reflected on their students’ growth and achievements to date. The programme included English speeches from each unit and was further enlivened by a musical performance from the students, singing songs dedicated to their beloved teachers.
