SMP Al-Siddiq International held the commemoration of Isra’ Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 07.00 a.m. WIB. The event took place on the second floor of the mosque and was attended by all students in a solemn and orderly manner.
The program began with a morning dhikr together, as part of spiritual habituation to prepare the hearts and minds of the students before the main event. The ceremony was then officially opened and led by Ust. Abdul Aziz, S.Pd as the Master of Ceremony, who guided the entire program smoothly.
The main session featured a religious lecture and the story of Isra’ and Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW delivered by Ust. Ahmad Toha, M.Ag. In his lecture, he explained the extraordinary journey of the Prophet, starting from the Isra’ journey from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa, followed by the Mi’raj journey to Sidratul Muntaha, where the obligation of the five daily prayers was bestowed upon Muslims.
Ust. Ahmad Toha, M.Ag also highlighted the significance of Isra’ and Mi’raj for Muslims, emphasizing the importance of maintaining daily prayers, strengthening faith in the power of Allah SWT, and emulating the perseverance and obedience of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in carrying out Allah’s commands despite many challenges.
After the lecture, the event continued with an interactive quiz based on the material delivered during the sermon. All students enthusiastically participated in the quiz. As a result, Muhammad Alvaro Syawwal Siregar, a seventh-grade male student, won the First Prize of the Isra’ Mi’raj Quiz.
At the end of the event, the school announced that on the following day, Friday, January 16th, 2026, students would continue their learning activities from home in accordance with government regulations, as the date was a public holiday this year.
Through this commemoration, it is hoped that students not only understand the story of Isra’ and Mi’raj historically but also practice its values of faith, obedience, and devotion in their daily lives.
