On Friday, 28 November 2025, Al Siddiq International Primary School carried out the School Children’s Immunisation Month Programme (BIAS) as part of the school’s effort to support the government’s initiative in maintaining students’ health and strengthening their immunity. This annual routine activity involves all teachers, students, and healthcare personnel.
This year’s immunisation was given to Year 1, Year 2, and Year 5 students, with each level receiving the type of immunisation determined by the local health centre (puskesmas). Healthcare officers from the puskesmas attended the event to provide professional and well-coordinated immunisation services.
The programme was conducted in an orderly manner in the UKS room and several other rooms prepared by the school. Teachers accompanied students throughout the process—from queuing to completing the immunisation—helping them feel calmer and more comfortable. The healthcare staff also delivered a brief explanation about the importance of immunisation as a preventive measure against disease.
Throughout the activity, all students participated well. Although a few appeared anxious, teachers and healthcare staff offered friendly and reassuring support. The entire process ran safely and without significant obstacles.
Prior to the event, the school had informed parents through an official circular. With clear communication, all parents gave their consent, allowing this year’s immunisation coverage to run optimally. The headteacher expressed appreciation to the teachers, parents, and healthcare workers for their excellent cooperation.
Overall, the 2025 BIAS implementation at Al Siddiq International Primary School ran smoothly and successfully. It is hoped that this programme will help maintain students’ health, enabling them to participate in learning activities with stronger and more protected bodies.
