Al-Siddiq International Junior High School held its National Teachers’ Day celebration on Wednesday, 26 November 2025. Although the official commemoration falls on 25 November, the spirit of appreciation for educators remained warm throughout the series of events attended by students, teachers, and parents.
The celebration began at 07.30 WIB on the school field. All participants gathered to listen to a speech by the School Director, Mr Ginanjar Citra Cimarga, M.Pd., who delivered a message of appreciation for the dedication and commitment of teachers in guiding the younger generation.
Following the opening speech, the audience enjoyed a performance of Hymne Guru, presented through a collaboration of pupils from the Kindergarten, Primary, and Junior High School units of Al-Siddiq International. The atmosphere grew even more emotional and heartwarming when the event continued with the release of doves, symbolising prayers and positive hopes for all educators.
At 09.00 WIB, the programme moved to the multifunction room. The event opened with remarks from the Head of Al-Siddiq International Junior High School, Mr Yusuf Yudhana, S.Pd. Afterwards, the audience was treated to a comedy drama performed by the Year 8 Girls. The play told the story of a former-mafia teacher working in a school for troubled children, with Khumairah Nairi Althafunnisa Isnain playing the lead role as the teacher. The performance sparked laughter while still delivering moral values.
The celebration continued with a teacher impersonation segment performed by Muhammad Zaidan Rizqy (Year 9 Boys) and Quirino Aidan Saputro (Year 8 Boys). Both students successfully mimicked the distinctive styles of several teachers in a humorous yet respectful manner.
The National Teachers’ Day celebration concluded with the presentation of gifts to the teachers, a joint prayer, and a photo session to capture the warmth and togetherness of the day. Through this series of activities, the Al-Siddiq International Junior High School community hopes to strengthen respect, affection, and appreciation for educators—who stand as the pillars of education.
