As the culmination of the Tasmi’ and Munaqosyah Al-Qur’an programme, SD Al Siddiq International held the Haflah Takrim Tasmi’ and Munaqosyah as a form of appreciation for students who have achieved their memorisation targets of Juz 30 and Juz 29. This activity was attended by 20 students who demonstrated dedication, discipline, and istiqamah (consistency) in participating in the tahfidz Al-Qur’an mentoring programme, one of the school’s flagship programmes.
The Haflah Takrim ceremony was conducted in a solemn and orderly atmosphere and was attended by tahfidz teachers and the teaching staff. One by one, the students were called forward to receive awards and certificates as a token of appreciation for their effort and perseverance in maintaining their Qur’anic memorisation. This moment became a valuable experience for the students to build self-confidence while also fostering a sense of pride in their achievements.

After all the students received their awards, the event continued with the collective recitation of a surah from the Holy Qur’an in front of the teachers and fellow students. The harmonious recitation of the sacred verses created a serene and deeply reverent atmosphere, serving as the closing of the Haflah Takrim Tasmi’ and Munaqosyah series of activities.
Through this programme, the school hopes to instil the values of istiqamah, discipline, and responsibility in students in preserving their Qur’anic memorisation. The Haflah Takrim also serves as a source of motivation for other students to remain enthusiastic in participating in the tahfidz programme and to confidently present their memorisation through Tasmi’ and Munaqosyah in future opportunities.
With the guidance of patient and dedicated tahfidz teachers, SD Al Siddiq International remains committed to nurturing a Qur’anic generation with noble character, confidence, and a strong commitment to making the Qur’an a guide in their daily lives. This activity forms part of the school’s ongoing efforts to build a religious, supportive, and Islamic character-based learning environment.
