Al Siddiq International Primary School Welcomes a Native English Speaker

Al-Siddiq International School is an international educational institution that offers a curriculum and learning methods based on global standards, with a bilingual approach using both English and Arabic in daily learning. The school provides education where English and Arabic serve as the main languages of instruction, reflecting its commitment to preparing students for an increasingly globalised world.

On 18 September 2024, Al-Siddiq International Primary School welcomed a Native English Speaker from the United States of America, Ms. Fatimah Az Zahra. She is an experienced educator who has taught at various schools across Indonesia and is currently teaching English at a primary school in the country.

The event took place from 08:00 to 11:00, during which each class had the opportunity to meet and interact directly with Ms. Fatimah in turns. The purpose of this programme was to give Al-Siddiq International Primary School students a more exclusive and authentic English-learning experience with a native speaker.

Ms. Fatimah shared her impressions of the students’ enthusiasm, saying:

“Grade 4 and grade 5 students were good! And I loved teaching them. The girls from grade 1 and 2 were so sweet. And grade 1 boys… they were amazing. It was a little bit crowded but I loved that they were so enthusiastic about this event.”

The event ran smoothly and successfully without any obstacles. This semester, Al-Siddiq International Primary School has hosted two native English speakers. Previously, the school also invited native speakers from Australia and South Africa.

This initiative was carried out with the hope of inspiring students to use English more confidently in their daily lives, and to strengthen the school’s commitment to nurturing globally minded learners.
