Al Siddiq International School

Emulating the Event of Isra Mi’raj at Al Siddiq International Elementary School

Al Siddiq International Elementary School held a commemoration of the Isra Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, attended by all students across every grade level. The event was conducted with solemnity and meaningfulness as an effort to instil Islamic values and the exemplary character of the Prophet in the students.

The programme began with a performance by a group of students singing the religious song “On a Night in the Month of Rajab”. The song was performed with deep feeling in front of all participants, creating a serene atmosphere and enhancing the sense of reverence in commemorating the Isra Mi’raj.

The activities continued with a performance by a young preacher, Zuhari, a Year 4 student. With full confidence, Zuhari narrated the journey of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the Isra Mi’raj. He explained in a clear and easy-to-understand manner the journey from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa, the commandment of the prayer, and shared lessons that students could apply in their daily lives.

All students participated in the event enthusiastically and in an orderly manner. Through this activity, it is hoped that students can understand the significance of Isra Mi’raj and strengthen their faith and love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This commemoration serves as an important moment for Al Siddiq International Elementary School in shaping Islamic character and fostering noble morals in students from an early age.
