SD Al Siddiq International has once again held its first round of extracurricular activities for Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 Academic Year. This programme serves as a complementary component of learning, aimed at developing students’ potential, interests, and talents beyond academic activities. Alhamdulillah, the entire series of extracurricular activities ran smoothly and in an orderly manner, with active participation from the students.
In this second semester, several students made adjustments by changing their chosen extracurricular activities in accordance with their interests and the development of their individual abilities. The school provides opportunities for students to explore a variety of positive activities so that they can discover and develop their best potential from an early age.
SD Al Siddiq International offers a wide range of extracurricular activities designed to be both educational and enjoyable. The activities available include swimming, coding, drawing, karate, silat (traditional martial arts), Japanese language, futsal, Saman dance, and creative dance. Each activity is conducted on a scheduled basis and is guided by experienced coaches and instructors in their respective fields.
Through activities such as swimming and futsal, students are trained to maintain physical fitness, develop sportsmanship, and strengthen teamwork. Arts activities, including drawing, Saman dance, and creative dance, aim to enhance creativity, aesthetic sensitivity, and students’ self-confidence. Meanwhile, coding and Japanese language activities provide students with essential 21st-century skills that support logical thinking, communication, and global awareness. Martial arts activities such as karate and silat also play an important role in building discipline, resilience, and strong character.
With the implementation of these extracurricular activities, SD Al Siddiq International hopes that students will grow and develop in a balanced manner, not only academically but also in skills and character. The school remains committed to continuously presenting positive programmes that support the formation of a generation that is well-mannered, high-achieving, and ready to face future challenges.
