“Play, Move, Grow!” Fun Basketball & Futsal Enrichment at Al Siddiq International Kindergarten

On Friday, 28 August 2026, the pupils of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten took part in Basketball Enrichment for girls and Futsal Enrichment for boys. The activities were held on the Al Siddiq International school field in an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere. Through enjoyable sporting activities, the children were given opportunities to stay active, play together, and develop a range of skills that support their overall growth and development. The day began at 8:00 a.m. with the children’s arrival at school. After gathering together, the activities started with murojaah and circle time, which continued until 8:30 a.m. During this session, the children participated in activities with their teachers in a calm and enjoyable atmosphere before beginning their physical activities. Circle time also provided an opportunity for the children to prepare themselves for the day’s activities, listen to instructions, and interact with their friends and teachers. From 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., the girls participated in Basketball Enrichment on the school field. They were introduced to a variety of basic basketball activities adapted to their age and abilities. Meanwhile, the boys took part in journalling and snack time. After one hour, the groups swapped activities. From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., the boys participated in Futsal, whilst the girls took part in journalling and snack time. Basketball and Futsal are not simply about keeping children physically active; they also support various aspects of their development. In terms of physical and motor development, sports activities help children develop body coordination, balance, agility, strength, and movement control. Activities such as running, jumping, kicking, throwing, and catching also provide valuable stimulation for the development of children’s gross motor skills. In addition to physical development, participating in sports together supports children’s social and emotional development. They learn to follow simple rules, take turns, cooperate with their friends, and respond positively to both winning and losing. Children also have opportunities to build their confidence and courage as they try new movements and skills. From a cognitive development perspective, Basketball and Futsal provide children with opportunities to understand instructions, recognise simple game rules, pay attention to their surroundings, and make decisions during activities. They learn to respond to different situations through movement and simple strategies, making sport an active and enjoyable part of the learning process. The Enrichment programme also provides teachers with valuable opportunities to observe children’s interests and potential. Every child has different interests and abilities. Through their direct experiences in Basketball and Futsal, teachers can observe how children respond to sporting activities, including their enthusiasm, willingness to try, ability to cooperate, movement coordination, and perseverance in participating. These observations can help the school and parents identify children’s interests and provide appropriate stimulation according to their individual needs and potential. Through Basketball and Futsal Enrichment, Al Siddiq International aims to provide learning experiences that extend beyond academic development and support children’s growth as a whole. In an active and enjoyable play-based environment, children can learn to move, cooperate, try new things, and discover activities that they enjoy. May these experiences become an early step towards helping the children grow into active, confident, healthy individuals with the opportunity to develop their fullest potential. Exploring the World of Snakes: Al Siddiq International Primary School Presents an Educational and Engaging Profession Class

Al Siddiq International Primary School once again provided students with a unique and engaging learning experience through a Profession Class entitled “The World of Snakes and How to Handle Them”, held on Friday, 28 August 2026. Taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (WIB), the activity gave students the opportunity to learn more about the world of snakes while gaining valuable knowledge about how to respond to and handle encounters with snakes safely. The Profession Class is one of the school’s learning initiatives that gives students opportunities to gain first-hand insights from the real world. Through activities such as this, students do not learn solely from textbooks and classroom lessons, but also gain new perspectives through topics that are closely connected to their everyday lives. Exploring the World of Snakes Snakes are animals that can be encountered in a variety of environments. However, for some children, encountering a snake can still be frightening and raise many questions. Through the theme “The World of Snakes and How to Handle Them”, students were encouraged to learn about snakes from a more educational perspective. They discovered that snakes are an important part of the ecosystem and play a role in maintaining environmental balance. The activity also gave students the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of snakes, understand their behaviour, and discover what to do if they encounter a snake in their surroundings. With the right knowledge, students are expected to remain calm and avoid actions that could potentially put themselves or the animal at risk. Learning How to Respond to Snakes Safely One of the key elements of this Profession Class was helping students understand how to respond safely when encountering a snake. Students were introduced to basic safety principles when coming across a snake. They learnt that safety should always be the top priority and that snakes should never be approached or handled carelessly. This knowledge is particularly important because children need to understand how to behave when encountering animals that may pose a potential danger. With proper guidance, students can recognise appropriate actions and avoid risky behaviour. Through an educational and enjoyable approach, students learnt that curiosity about animals should always be accompanied by caution, knowledge, and a sense of responsibility. Learning Through Real-World Experiences The Profession Class offered students a different kind of learning experience. The fascinating topic encouraged them to explore their curiosity and ask a variety of questions. Activities such as this also help students connect what they learn at school with their everyday lives. They can see that the knowledge gained through education has practical value when dealing with different situations in their surroundings. In addition to broadening their knowledge about snakes, the activity also helped develop students’ courage and self-confidence. They learnt to approach something they might previously have considered frightening in a calmer and more informed way. Friday Sharing: Sharing Food with Friends Following the Profession Class, Friday activities at Al Siddiq International Primary School continued with the warm and meaningful Friday Sharing programme. As part of this activity, students were encouraged to bring food from home to share and enjoy with their classmates. The variety of food brought by the students created a joyful opportunity for everyone to spend time together. Friday Sharing is more than simply eating together. Behind this simple activity are important values that the school seeks to nurture in its students: sharing, caring, gratitude, and appreciation for togetherness. Students learnt that happiness can be found when we are willing to share with others. The food brought from home became a simple way for them to practise giving to their friends and enjoying meaningful moments together without differences or distinctions. Through activities such as these, Al Siddiq International Primary School continues to create learning experiences that are fun, safe, meaningful, and memorable for all students. It is hoped that this Profession Class will broaden students’ understanding of the world of snakes, raise awareness of the importance of safety, and encourage them to face new experiences with confidence and appropriate knowledge. Celebrating the Maulid of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Al Siddiq International Secondary School Instils the Prophet’s Exemplary Character in Students

Al Siddiq International Secondary School held a Maulid celebration commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on Friday, 28 August 2026. The event took place on the second floor of the Al Siddiq International Secondary School Mosque and was attended by all students and members of the school’s academic community. The Maulid celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for the entire school community to remember the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whilst nurturing love and admiration for the Prophet and encouraging students to follow his exemplary character in their everyday lives. The programme began with the Duha prayer in congregation, followed by morning dhikr. The atmosphere became even more solemn as all participants listened to a religious lecture featuring Islamic guidance and reflections on the exemplary character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The programme continued with the recitation of Maulid Diba’, which was enthusiastically joined by all participants. The recitation of salawat and praises of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) created a deeply spiritual atmosphere throughout the celebration. The event concluded with a collective prayer. The students’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the programme. They participated in every activity in an orderly and wholehearted manner. The event was not merely a ceremonial celebration of the Maulid, but also served as an important means of character education and the cultivation of Islamic values within the school environment. Telling the Story of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Nurturing Love from an Early Age

On Monday, 24 August 2026, the pupils of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten took part in a Maulid Nabi Storytelling activity held at the Al-Qur’an Centre. The activity provided an opportunity for the children to become more familiar with the life and character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through stories presented in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner. In a joyful learning atmosphere, the children were introduced to stories from the life of the Prophet whilst being encouraged to develop a sense of love and admiration for him. The activity began at 8:00 a.m. when the children arrived at school. Before taking part in the main activity, they followed their usual daily routines, beginning with the Duha prayer, followed by snack time. These routines helped the children prepare themselves both physically and mentally for the day’s learning activities. Afterwards, they gathered at the Al-Qur’an Centre to participate in the Maulid Nabi storytelling session. During the main activity, the children watched and listened to a story about the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Through an engaging and easy-to-understand storytelling approach, they were introduced to the story of the Prophet’s birth as well as the names of several members of his family. The storytelling became an enjoyable learning experience as the children were not simply asked to listen, but were encouraged to become familiar with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a way that was closely connected to their world and level of understanding. After listening to the story, the activity continued with a question-and-answer session with Ustadz Dzakky. The children were given opportunities to answer questions and share what they remembered from the story. This session encouraged them to speak confidently, express their understanding, and learn to listen respectfully when others were speaking. The interaction also made the storytelling session more active and engaging, allowing the children to participate directly in the learning process. The Maulid Nabi Storytelling activity aimed to introduce Islamic values and the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from an early age. Through stories about the Prophet, the children were gradually introduced to a role model whose character and behaviour they could emulate. The activity also served as a means of nurturing love for the Prophet while building positive character traits, including kindness, respect for others, attentive listening, and behaviour guided by Islamic values. In addition to stimulating the children’s religious and moral development, the activity supported their language, cognitive, social, and emotional development. As they listened to the story, the children learnt to understand information and recall important parts of the narrative. During the question-and-answer session, they had opportunities to expand their vocabulary, express their thoughts, and build confidence in communication. They also learnt to participate in group activities and respect their friends when they were speaking. As a closing activity, the children were invited to colour a piece of calligraphy featuring the name “Muhammad”. This activity allowed them to express their creativity whilst reinforcing the subject matter introduced earlier. Colouring also provided valuable stimulation for their fine motor skills through holding and controlling writing and colouring tools, while developing concentration and hand-eye coordination. Through the Maulid Nabi Storytelling activity, the children of Al Siddiq International gained not only knowledge about the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but also a meaningful learning experience that combined religious values, storytelling, interaction, and creativity. Celebrating the Birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Al Siddiq International Primary School Holds a Variety of Islamic Competitions

Al Siddiq International Primary School once again held a lively celebration commemorating the Maulid of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This year’s celebration was not only an opportunity to remember the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but was also enriched with a variety of educational and inspiring activities that actively involved the students. One of the highlights of the Maulid celebration was a series of Islamic competitions. These activities were designed to provide students with enjoyable learning experiences while nurturing their love for the Holy Qur’an, worship, and the noble values taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Through these competitions, students were given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, courage, creativity, and understanding of various aspects of Islamic teachings. The participants took part enthusiastically in competitions covering the Qur’an, worship, Adhan, Islamic knowledge, and creative activities. Strengthening Love for the Holy Qur’an One of the main focuses of this year’s Maulid activities was to strengthen students’ love and connection with the Holy Qur’an. This was encouraged through the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) and Musabaqah Hifzhil Qur’an (MHQ) competitions. The MTQ & MHQ Akhwat competitions were held in Classroom 1C, whilst the MTQ & MHQ Ikhwan categories took place in Classroom 1D. The participants demonstrated their best abilities in reciting and memorising verses from the Holy Qur’an. These activities were not merely competitions, but also provided an opportunity to appreciate students who have made consistent efforts to maintain their connection with the Qur’an. Through MTQ and MHQ, students were encouraged to continue improving their Qur’anic recitation and gradually increasing their memorisation. In addition to MTQ and MHQ, the Nuroniyyah Akhwat & Ikhwan Competition was held in Classroom 2B. This competition formed part of the school’s efforts to strengthen students’ foundational Qur’anic reading skills and establish a strong foundation for Qur’anic learning from an early age. Learning and Practising Worship The Maulid celebration also provided an opportunity for students to strengthen their understanding and practice of Islamic worship in their daily lives. This was demonstrated through the Adhan Competition for Ikhwan, held in Classroom 1A. The participants demonstrated their ability to deliver the Adhan with appropriate vocal delivery, pronunciation, and posture. In addition to the Adhan competition, students’ ability to perform worship correctly was assessed through the Congregational Prayer Competition. The Ikhwan participants took part on the first floor of the mosque, whilst the Akhwat participants competed on the second floor. Through this activity, students not only learnt the correct procedures for performing prayer but also developed an understanding of the importance of discipline, order, devotion, and togetherness in worship. There were also Wudhu Competitions, with the Ikhwan category held at the first-floor ablution area and the Akhwat category at the second-floor ablution area. Participants demonstrated their ability to perform wudhu correctly and in the proper order. Practical activities such as these help students understand that Islamic teachings should not only be studied theoretically in the classroom but also practised consistently in everyday life. Developing Courage and Creativity The Maulid celebration at Al Siddiq International Primary School was not limited to competitions directly related to worship. The school also provided opportunities for students to develop their communication skills, creativity, and thinking abilities through a variety of activities. One of these was the Poetry Competition for Akhwat, held in the school library. Through this competition, students were encouraged to express their feelings, ideas, and love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through creative performances and poetry. Students’ thinking skills and Islamic knowledge were also developed through the Quiz Competition, held in Classrooms 3C and 3D. Participants were challenged to answer a range of questions quickly and accurately. In addition to expanding their knowledge, the activity developed concentration, confidence, teamwork, and decision-making skills. For Years 3, 4, and 6, a Crossword Puzzle Competition was held in Classroom 1B. The activity was presented in a fun and engaging way, allowing students to learn and play whilst developing their thinking skills and knowledge. Meanwhile, Years 1 and 2 students had the opportunity to express their creativity through a Colouring Competition held in Classroom 2A. With great imagination and enthusiasm, the participants expressed their creativity through colours and artwork. More Than Just a Competition The wide range of competitions organised as part of the Maulid celebration had a broader purpose than simply determining winners. Each activity was designed as part of the school’s character education programme. Students learnt to be courageous, confident, disciplined, cooperative, respectful towards their peers, gracious in accepting results, and committed to good sportsmanship. For students who achieved winning positions, the awards served as recognition of their efforts and abilities. However, for every participant, having the courage to take part and perform in front of others was itself an achievement worthy of appreciation. These values are closely aligned with the teachings and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Maulid celebration is intended to go beyond a ceremonial occasion and become a meaningful opportunity to instil noble character and the exemplary values of the Prophet into students’ daily lives. The event also reflects Al Siddiq International Primary School’s commitment to developing an educational environment that does not focus solely on academic achievement, but also places strong emphasis on character development and Islamic values. Outstanding Achievement! Muhammad Fahri Al Bukhari Excels in National and Bekasi City Dance Competitions

Al Siddiq International Secondary School is once again celebrating an outstanding achievement by one of its students, Muhammad Fahri Al Bukhari. This talented student has earned several remarkable accomplishments in the field of dance, competing successfully at both national and Bekasi City levels. Muhammad Fahri Al Bukhari achieved Second Place in the National Creative Dance Competition organised by Real Art Indonesia. This accomplishment demonstrates Fahri’s talent and creativity in developing and expressing his passion for dance, whilst also proving that students of Al Siddiq International Secondary School are capable of competing and achieving success at national level. His achievements did not stop there. Fahri also secured First Place in Category C (Junior and Senior Secondary School) at the Bekasi City Nusantara Creative Dance Competition, organised by Alhas Production. Even more impressively, Fahri achieved the highest award in the competition, demonstrating his outstanding ability and dedication to the art of dance. These accomplishments are the result of Fahri’s talent, creativity, discipline, and continuous hard work. Dance is not only a medium through which students can express their creativity, but also an opportunity to develop courage, concentration, discipline, self-confidence, and the ability to perform in front of an audience. Muhammad Fahri Al Bukhari’s achievements also serve as an inspiration to all students of Al Siddiq International Secondary School to continue developing their individual talents and potential. What a Fantastic Day! Children and Parents Show Their Teamwork at Al Siddiq International Kindergarten’s Independence Day Competitions

In celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Al Siddiq International Kindergarten held its Independence Day Competitions and Family Gathering on Saturday, 22 August 2026. The event took place on the school field and was attended by pupils together with their parents or guardians. From early morning, the atmosphere was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of togetherness, making this year’s Independence Day celebration particularly special. The event began with pupils and parents arriving at school for registration from 8:00 a.m. Once all participants had gathered, the programme officially commenced at 8:15 a.m. with an opening by the Master of Ceremonies, followed by an ice-breaking session that created an even warmer and more enjoyable atmosphere. The event then continued with a welcome address from the Head of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten, officially opening the day’s activities. To start the programme with plenty of energy, pupils and parents took part in a group exercise session. Performing the exercises together created a cheerful atmosphere while also providing a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds and teamwork between children, parents, and teachers. With everyone energised and ready, the participants then prepared themselves for the various competitions that had been arranged. The first competition was the Block-Building Challenge, designed for Kindergarten A and Kindergarten B pupils. In this individual competition, the children were challenged to run and then arrange blocks according to a given example. The challenge required not only speed but also concentration, observation, the ability to follow instructions, and accuracy in completing the task. The children who completed the challenge in the fastest times had the opportunity to advance to the final round. The competition was lively and full of excitement. The children enthusiastically gave their best, while parents and teachers cheered them on with encouragement and support. After a series of exciting rounds, the winners of the Block-Building Challenge were 1st Place: Khalid from Kindergarten B Fatimah Azzahra; 2nd Place: Zocka from Kindergarten A Ruqoyah; and 3rd Place: Khaira from Kindergarten A Zainab. Congratulations to all the winners and to every participant who showed courage and enthusiasm in taking part! The excitement continued with the Parents’ Bean Relay Challenge. In this competition, fathers and mothers were challenged to work together to complete a relay involving five beans, using chopsticks, in the fastest possible time. Requiring coordination, teamwork, and concentration, the competition successfully brought laughter and excitement to the entire event. The parents enthusiastically worked together to overcome the challenge and reach the finish line. After an exciting and closely contested competition, the winners of the Bean Relay Challenge were 1st Place: Ajla’s parent from Kindergarten A Ruqoyah; 2nd Place: Medina’s parent from Kindergarten A Zainab; and 3rd Place: Alea’s parent from Kindergarten A Zainab. Congratulations to all the winners! Equally important, appreciation goes to all the fathers and mothers who participated and demonstrated such a wonderful spirit of togetherness throughout the activity. The Independence Day Competitions and Family Gathering was not merely an opportunity to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day, but also offered numerous benefits for the children’s development. Through the competitions, children learned about sportsmanship, courage, independence, concentration, following rules, and accepting results graciously. They also gained valuable experience in performing in front of others and interacting with their friends in a fun and supportive environment. For parents, the event provided an opportunity to become directly involved in their children’s learning and play experiences. Their presence and participation helped strengthen the bond between parents and children while encouraging more positive communication. For the wider Al Siddiq International Kindergarten community, the Family Gathering also served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen relationships among parents, pupils, teachers, and the school. Through this celebration, Al Siddiq International Kindergarten sought to introduce the values associated with independence from an early age in a way that was enjoyable and closely connected to children’s world. Enthusiasm, teamwork, sportsmanship, courage, and togetherness are important values that the school hopes will continue to grow within every pupil.
