The activity was designed to instil the values of patriotism and to help students better understand the struggles of the nation’s heroes through enjoyable and creative tasks. All students from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in this programme. Through the PJBL approach, students not only received information but also engaged actively in a process of creating work that reflected their understanding of heroic values. Teachers also shared short stories about the heroes they were colouring, enabling the activity to build basic historical knowledge in an engaging way. The Hero’s Day PJBL activity was carried out with great enthusiasm. Classrooms and school areas were filled with lively scenes of students working diligently, discussing with teachers, and striving to produce their best work. The students’ creations were then displayed around the school as a form of appreciation and as inspiration for the wider school community. Through this activity, SD Al Siddiq International hopes to instil the values of heroism and a love for the nation from an early age.
