Bekasi – February 2024, As part of the entrepreneurship learning activities for the even semester, the pupils of Al Siddiq International Primary School held a Market Day with the theme “Fun Cooking”. Pupils from Years 1 to 4 were grouped together, each bringing their own products to sell.
A wide variety of food was offered, including traditional cakes, cookies, spaghetti, salad, pizza, and doughnuts, as well as drinks such as fruit juice, iced fruit, and milk. In addition to food and beverages, some pupils also sold school supplies and accessories for girls, such as hair clips. The selling prices were determined by the class teachers, with each item priced at no more than Rp 10,000.
Each group was accompanied by a supervising teacher and assisted by parents who were able to attend the event. Every stall was freely decorated to look as attractive as possible, complete with product labels, and transactions were conducted in Arabic and English.
Alhamdulillah, the event ran successfully, and all of the pupils’ products were sold out.
