Friday, 27 February 2026 marked a deeply meaningful moment for the entire Al-Siddiq International School community. Held at the Al Siddiq International School Mosque on the second floor, the farewell ceremony for the Headteacher, Mr Yusuf Yudhana, S.Pd, took place following a collective dhikr, creating a solemn, reflective, and emotional atmosphere.
The recitation of dhikr echoing throughout the main prayer hall was not merely the opening of the programme, but a symbol that every leadership role within an educational institution is grounded in spiritual values and moral responsibility. From that blessed space, prayers were offered, accompanying a leadership transition that has left its own historical imprint.
Appreciation and Reflection on Leadership
In her address, the representative of the School Committee, Mrs Delta Jagad, conveyed her deep appreciation to Mr Yusuf Yudhana, S.Pd, for his dedication and service.
“Leadership is not merely a position, but a civilisational trust. In the hands of a leader, direction is determined and culture is shaped. Thank you for your unwavering dedication in advancing Al-Siddiq International School.”
Her remarks reflected recognition of a leadership approach focused not only on programme achievements, but also on cultivating a progressive and character-driven school culture.
Meanwhile, in his farewell speech, the Headteacher delivered a heartfelt and sincere message.
“This school is not merely a place of learning, but a space where character and great aspirations grow. If today we see our children becoming more confident, more virtuous, and more accomplished, it is the result of our collective efforts.”
He also expressed his gratitude to the teachers, the School Committee, and all students for their collaboration and support throughout his tenure. For him, every achievement attained was the fruit of togetherness, not of individual effort alone.
The farewell was emphasised not as the end of togetherness, but as a change of role within the wider stage of service. Leadership may change, but the values and spirit that have been instilled must continue. The school will keep moving forward, built upon the foundations of unity, integrity, and prayer.
The event concluded with a collective prayer led solemnly, seeking blessings for every step of service that has been undertaken. The emotional atmosphere deepened as teachers, students, and members of the School Committee exchanged handshakes and mutual forgiveness with the Headteacher. The moment became a powerful symbol of the strong familial bonds that have been formed — not merely a ceremonial farewell, but a meeting of hearts grounded in respect, gratitude, and sincere prayers for continued service in the years to come.
