Al Siddiq International Primary School Holds Charity Event and Iftar Jama’i with Students and Parents

Al Siddiq International Primary School organised a Social Charity Event and Iftar Jama’i involving all students and their parents on Friday, 6 March 2026. The event, which began at 1:00 p.m. until completion, was held on the school premises in a spirit of togetherness and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme commenced with the registration of charity recipients, followed by the opening ceremony. The atmosphere became more solemn as the event continued with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, reminding all attendees of the blessings of Ramadan.

This was followed by a speech from the Chairperson of the School Committee, who encouraged the entire school community to continue fostering social awareness and a spirit of giving to others.

The programme then continued with an Islamic study session for the students, delivered by Ustadz Ahmad Jalaludin, S.Pd.I., Gr. In his talk, he offered advice and motivation, emphasising the importance of doing good deeds, sharing with others, and making the most of Ramadan to enhance worship and develop noble character.

After the session, the event proceeded with the distribution of charity packages to the recipients, followed by a class-based group photo session as a form of documentation of this meaningful occasion.

In addition, the programme included donations for orphans, reflecting the school community’s compassion and care for those in need.

As the time for breaking the fast approached, parents attended a special religious talk delivered by Ustadz Bendri Jaisyurrahman. In his sermon, he highlighted the crucial role of parents in nurturing children with Islamic values and encouraged families to use Ramadan as an opportunity to strengthen family bonds and improve the quality of their worship.

The event concluded with a collective evening dhikr, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere. This was followed by the iftar jama’i, where all participants broke their fast together, further strengthening the sense of unity among students, parents, and the entire Al Siddiq International Primary School community.

Through this event, it is hoped that the values of compassion, togetherness, and generosity will continue to grow among the students and the wider school community, making Ramadan a meaningful time to strengthen faith, foster relationships, and spread kindness to others.
