Cibubur, 17 August 2026 — Three students from SMP Al-Siddiq International, Afika, Vania, and Kautsar, had the opportunity to attend an invitation to the ATAS (Association of Top Achiever Scouts) agenda held at Cut Nyak Dien, Bumi Perkemahan dan Graha Wisata Pramuka (Buperta) Cibubur, East Jakarta, on Monday, 17 August 2026.
ATAS, or the Association of Top Achiever Scouts, is an international fraternity for Guides and Scouts who have achieved the highest distinction within their respective Scouting programmes. In Indonesia, this achievement is equivalent to Pramuka Garuda, the highest level of recognition for members of the Indonesian Scout Movement.
Taking part in this agenda was a valuable experience for Afika, Vania, and Kautsar, giving them the opportunity to gain a broader understanding of the international Scouting network, build friendships with fellow Scouts, and gain insights into the contributions of outstanding Scouts at both national and international levels.
The event was also attended by ATAS President Paramasivam Palany, who is serving his term for the 2024–2027 period. The presence of the ATAS leadership gave participants the opportunity to interact with and learn more about an organisation that brings together Top Achiever Scouts from various countries.
In addition, the event was attended by TARAM representatives from across Bekasi, further strengthening the spirit of togetherness and fellowship among outstanding Scout members.
This occasion also formed part of the effort to nurture a younger generation who are independent, disciplined, responsible, equipped with leadership qualities, and possess a global outlook. Through their experiences in Scouting activities, students are expected not only to achieve academic success, but also to develop leadership skills, social awareness, and the ability to collaborate with others.
The participation of Afika, Vania, and Kautsar in the ATAS agenda at Buperta Cibubur was both a source of pride and an inspiring experience. May this opportunity motivate them to continue developing their potential, maintaining their spirit of achievement, and making positive contributions to their surroundings, school, and wider community.
