Tarhib Ramadhan at Al Siddiq International Primary School: Welcoming the Holy Month with Great Joy

In preparation for the arrival of the holy month of Ramadhan, Al Siddiq International Primary School held a Tarhib Ramadhan event on Friday, 13 February. The activity was attended by all students, teachers, and school staff with great enthusiasm as a form of preparation for welcoming the blessed month.

The Tarhib Ramadhan programme took place within the school environment and featured a series of activities aimed at fostering the spirit of worship and strengthening Islamic values among the students. The event began with an opening session and a briefing from the school, highlighting the importance of preparing oneself spiritually ahead of the month of Ramadhan.

Following this, the students participated in a Tarhib Ramadhan parade, carrying various Ramadhan-themed attributes and posters. Through this activity, students were encouraged to express their joy in welcoming the holy month while also reminding the surrounding community of the arrival of Ramadhan.

In addition to the parade, students were also given guidance on positive values and good deeds that can be practised during Ramadhan, such as increasing acts of worship, sharing with others, maintaining good behaviour, and enhancing care for the surrounding environment. Teachers also provided motivation for the students so that they may observe the fast with sincerity and enthusiasm.

The Tarhib Ramadhan activity became a meaningful moment for the entire school community. It served not only as a celebration to welcome Ramadhan but also as a learning opportunity for students to understand the significance of the holy month and the importance of strengthening their faith and devotion.

Through this activity, it is hoped that all students of Al Siddiq International Primary School will welcome the month of Ramadhan with joyful hearts, a strong spirit of worship, and a determination to become better individuals.
