Bekasi, 10 July 2026 – In preparation for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, Al Siddiq International School Secondary held its Pre-School Orientation Programme (Pre-MPLS) on Friday, 10 July 2026. The event was attended by all new Year 7 students together with their parents or guardians, the school leadership team, and members of the teaching staff.
Held in the Science Laboratory of Al Siddiq International School Secondary, the programme commenced with a warm welcome from the School Director, who highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between the school and families in nurturing students’ character, academic excellence, and noble Islamic values.
The Principal of Al Siddiq International School Secondary then provided an overview of the School Orientation Programme (MPLS), which would take place at the beginning of the new academic year. During the session, parents and students were introduced to the orientation schedule, its objectives, school regulations, learning culture, and the core character values that distinguish Al Siddiq International School Secondary.
Parents were also informed about the school’s policies, expectations regarding discipline and student conduct, the correct use of the school uniform, and the importance of maintaining effective communication and cooperation between home and school in supporting each student’s development.
The Pre-MPLS programme continued with an introduction to all members of the teaching staff. This session provided an excellent opportunity for students and parents to become acquainted with the teachers, helping to establish positive relationships and ensuring that students felt more confident and prepared as they embarked on their new learning journey.
As part of the preparations for the new academic year, the school also distributed textbooks and school uniforms to all new students. The distribution process was carried out smoothly and efficiently under the supervision of the teachers and organising committee.
Through this Pre-MPLS programme, the school aims to help new students become familiar with their learning environment at an early stage, gain a clear understanding of the school’s academic culture, and prepare themselves enthusiastically for the full School Orientation Programme.
By fostering strong communication and collaboration between the school and parents from the outset, Al Siddiq International School Secondary remains confident in its commitment to providing a safe, supportive, character-centred, and high-achieving educational environment.
