Alhamdulillah, Al Siddiq Festival (ALFEST) 2026, held on 20 June 2026, was celebrated with great success, enthusiasm, and excitement. This annual event provided an outstanding platform for pupils to showcase the knowledge, creativity, talents, and skills they had developed throughout their learning journey at school. ALFEST also served as a meaningful occasion to strengthen the bonds between pupils, teachers, parents, and the entire Al Siddiq community.
The programme began with the registration of participants and invited guests, followed by a captivating Saman Dance performance that immediately energised the audience. The opening ceremony then continued with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem (Indonesia Raya) and the Al Siddiq School Anthem, followed by welcoming speeches from the School Director and the Principal of Al Siddiq International Primary School. The opening session concluded with a collective prayer, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to hold such a memorable event.
Throughout the festival, pupils delighted the audience with a wide variety of engaging and inspiring performances. These included creative dance performances, solo and group singing, Qur’an Tasmi’ presentations, poetry recitations, choral speaking, storytelling, and a colourful fashion show. Every performance reflected the pupils’ dedication, consistent practice, and confidence in presenting their very best on stage. Their enthusiasm and talent earned warm appreciation from parents and invited guests alike.
Beyond being a celebration of talent, ALFEST 2026 also provided valuable learning experiences for every pupil. Through their participation, the children developed greater self-confidence, strengthened their teamwork and communication skills, and learned the importance of perseverance and commitment in preparing high-quality performances. Creative transition scenes presented throughout the programme added further excitement, making the event both dynamic and memorable from beginning to end.
The success of ALFEST 2026 was made possible through the dedication and close collaboration of the organising committee, teachers, school staff, pupils, and parents. The enthusiastic support and heartfelt applause from the audience became a great source of encouragement, inspiring the pupils to continue exploring and developing their unique talents and potential.
Through events such as ALFEST, Al Siddiq International Primary School once again reaffirmed its commitment to providing a holistic education that extends beyond academic excellence. The school is equally dedicated to nurturing character, creativity, communication skills, and the diverse interests and talents of every pupil. Each child is given the opportunity to perform, grow in confidence, and express their individuality in a supportive and encouraging environment.
As ALFEST 2026 came to a close, it is hoped that the valuable experiences gained will inspire every pupil to continue growing into confident, creative, high-achieving individuals with strong moral character.
