As an important first step in fostering a strong partnership between the school and families, Al Siddiq International Kindergarten held its Parent–Teacher Conference (PTC) on Friday, 24 July 2026. The event took place in the Al Siddiq International Kindergarten classrooms and was attended by the parents and guardians of Kindergarten A and Kindergarten B pupils. The conference served as a valuable opportunity to align the school’s vision with that of parents and to strengthen communication in supporting children’s learning and development throughout the upcoming academic year.
The programme commenced at 8:10 a.m. (WIB) and was hosted in a warm and welcoming atmosphere by Mr Faruqi, who served as the Master of Ceremonies. The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ust. Ghoyyats, creating a solemn and blessed atmosphere. This was followed by a welcome address from the Director of Al Siddiq International, Mr Ginanjar Citra Cimarga, M.Pd., who emphasised the importance of strong collaboration between the school and parents in nurturing a generation of children with excellent character, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
The conference then continued with the main presentation delivered by the Head of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten, Mrs Itoh Sugiharti, S.E., S.Pd., who outlined the academic programmes planned for the coming academic year. Parents were introduced to the curriculum, teaching and learning activities, character development programmes, and the various educational experiences that their children would participate in throughout the year. The clear and well-structured presentation enabled parents to gain a thorough understanding of each programme’s objectives, allowing them to provide consistent support for their children at home.
The next session focused on the school’s Al-Qur’an Programme, presented by Ust. Mudzakky. During his presentation, he explained the programme’s learning targets, teaching methods, and the vital role of parents in supporting their children’s Qur’anic learning at home. Through effective collaboration between teachers and families, it is hoped that children’s ability to read, memorise, and develop a love for the Holy Qur’an will flourish from an early age.
Holding the Parent–Teacher Conference at the beginning of the semester aims to establish open communication between the school and parents, provide a comprehensive overview of the school’s educational direction, and align expectations in supporting each child’s learning journey. Through this meeting, parents gained a clearer understanding of both the academic curriculum and the school’s Islamic programmes, enabling them to play an active role in supporting their children’s development both at school and at home.
The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which parents took the opportunity to ask questions, share suggestions, and engage in direct discussions with the school regarding the programmes that had been presented. The enthusiastic participation reflected the parents’ strong commitment to their children’s education. It is hoped that this Parent–Teacher Conference will further strengthen the partnership between the school and families, creating a positive, harmonious learning environment that supports every child in achieving their fullest potential.
