Parents’ Study Circle and Book Review Part 4: Strengthening Parenting Through the Example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Bekasi, 8 October 2026 — Al Siddiq International once again held its Parents’ Study Circle and Book Review as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in nurturing a generation of Qur’anic learners. Held on Thursday, 8 October 2026, at Al Siddiq Mosque, the event focused on Part 4 of the book Stages of Raising Children Following the Example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), with Ustadz Abdullah Haris, Lc., M.Pd. as the guest speaker.

The study circle provided parents with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of child-rearing and education in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Through the discussion, participants were encouraged to recognise that raising children involves more than simply meeting their physical and academic needs. It also means shaping their character, instilling Islamic values, and nurturing their spiritual growth and moral development.

During the session, Ustadz Abdullah Haris, Lc., M.Pd. encouraged parents to look to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the ultimate role model in raising their children. Effective parenting requires good example, patience, compassion, and an approach that takes into account each child’s stage of development. Parents also play a vital role in creating a family environment that nurtures faith and noble character.

The Part 4 book review served as an opportunity for shared learning, reflection, and strengthening parents’ commitment to fulfilling their responsibility in raising their children. It is hoped that the knowledge and insights gained will extend beyond the study session and be put into practice in everyday family life.

Through its regular Parents’ Study Circle and Book Review programme, Al Siddiq International hopes to foster an even stronger partnership between the school and families. After all, educating children is a shared responsibility that requires consistency in values, vision, and good example between the school and the home.

Together, nurturing a Qur’anic generation that is knowledgeable, possesses noble character, and follows the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a role model in every aspect of life.
