Bekasi – Students of Al Siddiq International Secondary School took part in the preliminary round of the KSNR (Kompetisi Sains Nalaria Realistik / Realistic Scientific Reasoning Competition), held on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at Teratai Putih Global Islamic School, Bekasi. Participation in this competition is part of the school’s efforts to provide students with valuable opportunities to develop their academic abilities, particularly in Science.
For this competition, Al Siddiq International Secondary School sent a number of students who were ready to take on challenges in their respective fields. The participants were Cordelia, Muhammad Kautsar, Azka, Khalisa Adinta, Alina, Raisafa, Azka Fakhri, Muhammad Al-Varo, Adrian Jagad Alfatar, and Alanza Lareina. They took part in the preliminary round with great enthusiasm and strived to demonstrate their best abilities after undergoing a series of preparations organised by the school.
Before participating in the competition, the students received intensive preparation through various training activities and practice questions tailored to the characteristics of the competition. These exercises were designed to familiarise students with questions requiring logical and analytical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills. As the final stage of preparation, the participants also took part in a coaching session via Zoom with the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Mr Muhammad Fathul Ihsan, M.Res., providing them with additional guidance and preparation before facing the competition.
During the preliminary round, the students were accompanied directly by the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Mr Muhammad Fathul Ihsan, M.Res. His presence demonstrated the school’s support while providing encouragement and motivation for the participants to remain confident and perform to the best of their abilities. Taking part in KSNR also provided the students with valuable experience in assessing their own capabilities and experiencing the atmosphere of an academic competition first-hand.
Looking ahead, experiences gained through competitions such as KSNR are expected to become an important part of developing students’ competitive mindset, strengthening their academic readiness, and encouraging them to face new challenges with confidence. Every competition is not simply about the final result, but also about the learning process and valuable experiences gained along the way.
May the experiences gained from this competition help the students of Al Siddiq International Secondary School approach future competitions with greater confidence, stronger preparation, and a clearer understanding of what is required to achieve their best possible results.
