SMP Al Siddiq International School once again presented a moment filled with enthusiasm and appreciation through the announcement of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) results under the entrepreneurship theme, “Purple Sweet Potato Creations.” This activity served as a platform for students to develop their creativity, independence, and entrepreneurial spirit through an engaging and practical learning process.
Over the course of several days, students went through a comprehensive PJBL process, starting from generating creative ideas for menu creation, developing product concepts, shopping for and preparing ingredients, to learning marketing techniques and carrying out sales. In addition, each group presented their project outcomes as a form of accountability and to strengthen their communication skills.
The highlight of the event was held on Friday, 10th April 2026, at the school mosque following the regular morning dhikr session. In a solemn yet enthusiastic atmosphere, the PJBL winners were announced based on assessments of taste, creativity, and product quality.
The top prize was awarded to Group 5, led by Altha and team. They successfully introduced an innovative product in the form of purple sweet potato jam paired with toasted bread, attractively packaged in baking paper with strong commercial appeal. Their work excelled not only in taste but also in creativity and product presentation. For this achievement, the group received prizes and recognition, followed by a group photo session.
On the same occasion, the results of the Qur’an Munaqosyah were also announced, along with the awarding of certificates to students who had successfully completed the memorisation of one juz. The assessment was conducted comprehensively, covering fluency of memorisation, accuracy of tajwid, and quality of recitation (tahsin). This accomplishment stands as evidence of the students’ dedication and commitment to maintaining a close connection with the Qur’an.
Bravo to all students of SMP Al Siddiq International School! It is hoped that through these rewards and recognitions, students will be increasingly motivated to continue creating, innovating, and improving their achievements in both academic and spiritual aspects in the future.
