On Friday, 19 June 2026, Al Siddiq International Kindergarten held its Semester Two Report Distribution Day. The event took place in each classroom and was attended by the kindergarten pupils together with their parents. The distribution of report cards is one of the most important events at the end of the academic year, as it provides parents with a comprehensive overview of their children’s progress throughout their learning journey at school.
The primary purpose of the Semester Two Report Distribution was to present a detailed report on each child’s development over the course of the academic year. The reports covered a wide range of developmental areas, including cognitive development, language skills, motor skills, social and emotional development, religious and moral values, and personal independence. Through these reports, parents were able to gain a holistic understanding of their children’s learning progress, focusing not only on final achievements but also on the continuous growth they had demonstrated throughout the year.
In addition to reviewing each child’s overall development, the event held particular significance for the Kindergarten B pupils. Teachers shared detailed evaluations of the children’s readiness to begin their primary school education. These reports helped parents understand their children’s preparedness in terms of academic ability, attitude, independence, and social skills. As a result, parents were better equipped to provide appropriate guidance and support as their children prepared to move on to the next stage of their educational journey.
The report distribution sessions were organised in an orderly manner, with parents attending their children’s classrooms according to individual appointment times arranged with the class teachers. This schedule ensured that each meeting could take place in a comfortable, focused, and unhurried environment. Every parent had the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress personally with the teacher.
During these meetings, teachers did more than simply hand over the report cards. They provided detailed explanations of each child’s achievements, learning habits, strengths, and the areas that would benefit from further development. Parents and teachers also exchanged valuable observations regarding the children’s progress both at school and at home. This open communication is essential in ensuring that children receive consistent guidance and support in every aspect of their development.
The Semester Two Report Distribution at Al Siddiq International Kindergarten reflects the strong partnership between the school and parents in supporting each child’s growth and development. Through this collaborative approach, it is hoped that parents will gain an even deeper understanding of their children’s individual needs and continue to provide positive encouragement and guidance. Effective communication between teachers and parents enables every child’s development to be monitored and supported more effectively.
Overall, the Semester Two Report Distribution was much more than the presentation of academic reports; it was also an opportunity for shared reflection on a year filled with meaningful learning experiences and personal growth. Throughout the academic year, the children have embraced many valuable experiences that have contributed to their development. May all pupils of Al Siddiq International Kindergarten continue to grow into confident, independent young learners who are well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.
