Al Siddiq International Junior High School Sends Representatives to the FLS3N Competition, Supporting and Exploring Students’ Talents

Al Siddiq Junior High School has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of students’ talents and creativity through active participation in the 2026 Bekasi City-level FLS3N competition. This event serves as a platform for students to channel their interests and talents in the arts while also building confidence in competing.

This year, the competition was held at SMP Negeri 11 Bekasi from Thursday, 30th April to 2nd May 2026, and was attended by participants from 12 districts across Bekasi City. The event ran successfully with the participation of various schools, including representatives from Al Siddiq International School, Bekasi.

Al Siddiq Junior High School sent its best representatives to compete in the storytelling and solo singing categories. Both categories require strong expression, interpretation, and refined technique, making them both a challenge and a valuable experience for the participants.

Throughout the event, the students were directly accompanied by subject teachers who provided guidance, motivation, and full support. This mentorship played an important role in building the students’ confidence when performing in front of the panel of judges.

Despite the intense competition with participants from various schools, the enthusiasm of Al Siddiq students never wavered. They performed with confidence, showcasing their best abilities, which had been developed through intensive training with their mentors.

The Head of Al Siddiq Junior High School stated that participation in the FLS3N is not solely about winning, but also about developing skills and broadening students’ experiences.

“For us, every child has extraordinary potential. The school’s role is to support, guide, and provide space for that potential to develop optimally,” he said.

Through the storytelling competition, students learn to convey stories with strong expression and imagination, while in the solo singing competition, they are trained to develop vocal skills, breathing techniques, and emotional interpretation of songs. Both fields demonstrate that Al Siddiq Junior High School focuses not only on academics but also on the development of arts and character.

Participation in this event is expected to motivate all students to continue being courageous, creative, and proactive in developing their talents. With a spirit of perseverance, Al Siddiq Junior High School remains optimistic in its ability to compete and to nurture a generation that is creative, confident, and accomplished.
