In preparation for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, Al Siddiq International Secondary School held its Academic Community Strategic Planning Meeting (Rapat Kerja – RAKER) as a forum for reviewing achievements, formulating work programmes, and establishing strategic priorities for the continued development of the school.
This year’s Strategic Planning Meeting reflected a renewed commitment to continuous improvement through the strengthening of the school’s organisational structure. One of the key initiatives was the appointment of additional staff to support the Vice Principal for Curriculum and the Vice Principal for Student Affairs. These newly established positions are intended to enhance coordination, improve educational services, and ensure the effective implementation of school programmes, enabling the school to achieve its strategic goals more efficiently and effectively.
During the meeting, the academic community also identified several priority programmes centred on strengthening Qur’anic education and enhancing academic excellence, which remain the distinctive pillars of Al Siddiq International Secondary School. These two areas are expected to serve as the foundation for nurturing a generation of pupils who are academically accomplished, firmly grounded in Islamic values, and equipped to excel in various fields.
In addition, the school reaffirmed its commitment to character education by placing greater emphasis on cultivating a strong culture of discipline throughout the school community. The Student Council (OSIS) will also be empowered to take a more active leadership role in organising and managing school activities. Through these responsibilities, pupils will have greater opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and social awareness.
In the academic sphere, Al Siddiq International Secondary School will continue to expand its enrichment programmes by strengthening its flagship extracurricular activities, including Science, Mathematics, and Coding. These programmes are designed to nurture pupils’ individual talents while preparing them to participate successfully in academic competitions at both regional and national levels.
Through the spirit of collaboration shared by the entire academic community, Al Siddiq International Secondary School is confident in its ability to deliver sustainable educational innovation and continuous improvement. It is hoped that every programme developed during the Strategic Planning Meeting will be implemented successfully, producing graduates who excel not only academically but also demonstrate strong Islamic character, effective leadership, and the ability to bring honour to the school through outstanding achievements.
“Together, we are building a school that excels in Qur’anic education, academic achievement, character development, and excellence—preparing a future generation with noble character and the competence to thrive in a globally competitive world.”
