Enhancing English Language Skills: SD Al Siddiq International Welcomes a Native Speaker from Australia

Bekasi, 26 October 2026 — SD Al Siddiq International once again provided its pupils with an engaging and interactive learning experience through its Fun English Session with a Native Speaker. Held on Monday, 26 October 2026, the programme welcomed Mrs Emma Claire Moustafa, a native English speaker from Australia.

Taking place on the SD Al Siddiq International premises, the programme was attended by pupils from Years 1 to 6 in separate sessions according to a pre-arranged timetable. This initiative forms part of the school’s ongoing efforts to enhance pupils’ English language skills by providing them with first-hand learning experiences with a native English speaker.

The Fun English Session was designed to create an enjoyable and communicative learning environment. Through direct interaction with a native speaker, pupils had the opportunity to listen to authentic English pronunciation, learn new vocabulary, and practise their speaking and listening skills through conversations in English.

Mrs Emma Claire Moustafa’s presence offered pupils a different and valuable learning experience. Rather than learning English solely through textbooks and classroom lessons, they were given the opportunity to communicate directly with a native speaker. This experience is expected to help pupils develop their courage and confidence in using English in their everyday lives.

The programme was organised into several sessions according to year groups. The first session began at 7.00 a.m. (Western Indonesian Time) with pupils from Classes 3A and 3C, followed by Classes 3B and 3D, then Classes 4A, 4B and 4C, and finally Year 6. After the break, the sessions resumed with pupils from Classes 2A and 2B, Classes 1B and 1D, and concluded with Classes 1A and 1C at 12.00 noon.

Through this activity, pupils were also introduced to the use of English in more authentic communication contexts. Interacting with a native speaker provided a valuable opportunity to become familiar with various expressions, improve their pronunciation, and strengthen their listening and speaking skills.

This programme reflects SD Al Siddiq International’s commitment to providing an internationally oriented education whilst upholding Islamic values. English language learning is not merely focused on academic achievement, but also on developing communication skills, broadening global perspectives, and preparing pupils to face the challenges of an ever-evolving world.

Through the Fun English Session with a Native Speaker, SD Al Siddiq International hopes to inspire pupils to become more enthusiastic about learning English, communicate with greater confidence, and develop their language skills from an early age.

May this enjoyable learning experience serve as a positive step towards nurturing a generation of confident, knowledgeable and high-achieving learners who are ready to compete at international level whilst remaining firmly rooted in their Islamic identity and values.
